FIELDSTAR developments

In the early 1980s farmers and engineers began to experiment with ground–based positioning equipment, bulky antennas, and simple electronic data storage devices.

This ground-breaking research, using what would now be considered primitive technology, lead the way to producing the first yield maps with equipment developments that would eventually become Fieldstar – the first controller of its type.

In 1996 Fieldstar was launched in Europe and in the USA a year later. Since its inception many new advances in technology have kept Fieldstar ahead of the competition and at the leading edge of information technology and precision agriculture.
