By automatically logging applications, FIELDSTAR allows users to demonstrate exactly how the crop was grown and what treatments it has received and when. The ability to provide this accurate documentation allows users to meet the ever stringent demands of crop assurance schemes and local environmental controls. Traceablity also helps to secure premium prices and can provide access to high value, niche markets.

FIELDSTAR provides two levels of data recording. Job cards reduce the administrative burden by automatically creating field records. This information can be downloaded into the GTA software suite and exported for use by most farm management software systems.

If connected to DGPS, FIELDSTAR is able to produce precise application maps showing where a product was distributed throughout the field. These maps can be used for simple record keeping, automatic stock-taking and reordering or further processed by other farm management software.
